WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Spitler, Kilgore & Enck reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on June 27, 2024, Spitler, Kilgore & Enck experienced an IT outage that disrupted access to certain local systems. 1 As a result, Spitler, Kilgore & Enck launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Spitler, Kilgore & Enck learned of information suggesting that on June 26, 2024, an unknown actor gained unauthorized access to its network and acquired certain files, some of which may have contained personal information. 1 As a result, Spitler, Kilgore & Enck began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

- Social Security number
- Medical information
On June 13, 2025, Spitler, Kilgore & Enck began mailing affected individuals.
