WHAT HAPPENED?

On June 7, 2025, Erie became aware of unauthorized activity on some of its information technology systems.1 In response, Erie launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident. On June 7, 2025, Erie reported the incident in a Form 8-K filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Additionally, Erie posted a notice of the incident on its website, stating it was experiencing a network outage and information security event.2 As of June 13, 2025, Erie’s investigation is ongoing, and further details have not been made publicly available by Erie.
