Today, Weber provides these services to businesses in a variety of industries, such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, automotive, personal care, electronics, and logistics.3 Headquartered in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Weber has additional US locations and operations in Canada, Mexico, Australia, Europe, and Asia.4
WHAT HAPPENED?
On May 19, 2025, Weber reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party on October 7 and October 8, 2024. As of May 23, 2025, additional details of the breach have not been made publicly available by Weber. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
As a result of the data breach, Weber will soon begin providing notice to impacted individuals. Based on the notice sent to Massachusetts, Weber is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
