Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Northwest Radiologists and Mount Baker Imaging (“Northwest/MBI”) regarding their recent data breach. The Northwest/MBI data breach involved sensitive personal information and protected health information belonging to an unknown number of individuals.

Northwest Radiologists is a subspecialized radiology practice that provides full-service radiology interpretations and minimally invasive interventional procedures at four PeaceHealth hospitals.2 Founded over 50 years ago in Bellingham, Washington, today Northwest Radiologists is a member practice of Strategic Radiology and has 20 radiologists on its team.2
Mount Baker Imaging focuses on delivering precision imaging tools to local providers in Washington.3 Services Mount Baker Imaging offers include bone densitometry, cardiac imaging, CT and MRI scans, ultrasounds, and x-rays.4 With five locations between Lynden and Bellingham, Washington, often in joint locations with PeaceHealth, Mount Baker Imaging uses the physicians of Northwest Radiologists to interpret images.2
WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 26, 2025, Northwest/MBI reported that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on or around January 25, 2025, Northwest/MBI experienced a network disruption that impacted certain systems.1 As a result, Northwest/MBI launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Northwest/MBI has confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been compromised by an unauthorized third party during the breach. While investigation is ongoing, the types of information potentially exposed include:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license or state identification card number
- Contact information such as address, email address, and telephone number
- Date of birth
- Medical information, such as treatment or diagnosis, provider name, medical record number or patient identification number
- Health Insurance Information
