Old National is a convention center and live entertainment theatre based in Indiana. Founded in 2000, Old National is a 280,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, that offers flexible space and in-house services to assist in the planning and coordinating of events.2 Additionally, Old National includes a 2,500-seat Auditorium, a 38,000 square-foot Exhibit Hall, 14,000 square-feet of Ballroom space, and twelve flexible 1,000 square-foot Meeting Rooms.2 Today, Old National is managed by ASM Global, a venue management company that spans five continents and 14 countries.2 Headquartered in Evansville, Indiana, Old National employs approximately 20 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Old National reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been accessed and acquired. According to the breach notice, on January 9, 2025, Old National identified that an unauthorized actor had accessed one of its systems.1 As a result, Old National launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Old National confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been compromised by an unauthorized third party beginning on January 6, 2025. As a result, Old National began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
On April 3, 2025, Old National began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Massachusetts residents, Old National is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
