Founded in 2023, DecisionFi offers a decisioning platform that helps banks and lenders showcase their loan offerings in real time to customers.2 Additionally, DecisionFi’s platform provides web-based access to customers and integrated finance with post-sale oversight and analytics.3 Headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, DecisionFi employs less than 10 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, DecisionFi reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. According to the breach notice, on January 15, 2025, DecisionFi learned at an unknown user claimed to have accessed certain DecisionFi files through a web application.1 As a result, DecisionFi launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, DecisionFi confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been compromised by an unauthorized third party through the web application. As a result, DecisionFi began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On January 28, 2025, DecisionFi completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license
On February 21, 2025, DecisionFi began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to New Hampshire residents, DecisionFi is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
