Headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, Adstra employs over 50 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Adstra reported to the Attorney General of Maine that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. According to the breach notice, in June 2023, Adstra discovered suspicious activity in its computer systems. As a result, Adstra launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Adstra learned that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been compromised between May 25, 2023, and June 5, 2023. As a result, Adstra began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On June 14, 2024, Adstra completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
On August 7, 2024, Adstra began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Maine residents, Adstra is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific type of sensitive information impacted and 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
