Kofile Technologies Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Kofile Technologies, Inc. (“Kofile”) regarding its recent data breach. The Kofile data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Kofile discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Kofile determined that an unauthorized third party accessed this sensitive information though an employee’s email account on September 21, 2023. On July 18, 2024, Kofile began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of personal information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
