Cornerstone Healthcare Group Data Breach Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Cornerstone discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information may have been accessed. In July 2024, Cornerstone reported the data breach to both the Attorney General of Texas and the Attorney General of Massachusetts. According to the breach reports, Cornerstone has notified individuals whose data may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Driver’s license or other government issued ID number
  • Financial account information
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
