Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Wold Architects and Engineers (“Wold”) regarding its recent data breach. The Wold data breach may have involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to over 2,100 individuals.

ABOUT WOLD ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS:

Wold is a full-service planning, architecture and engineering firm based in Minnesota. Founded in 1968, Wold provides a wide range of services for its predominately public-sector clients, including troubleshooting and problem solving for existing facility issues and new facility design.2 Today, Wold’s typical new construction projects include K-12 public schools, higher education, courthouses, public offices, fire and police stations, city halls, law enforcement centers and correctional facilities, hospitals, clinics, and senior living.2 Headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Wold has four additional offices across Colorado, Illinois, and Tennessee, and employs over 200 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On April 10, 2024, Wold discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Wold determined that an unauthorized third party accessed this sensitive information on April 7, 2024. On June 28, 2024, Wold began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Government identification numbers (e.g., Driver’s license number, student or military ID, passport number)
