Ullico Data Breach Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

In 2019, Ullico discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Ullico determined that an unauthorized third party accessed this sensitive information through an employee’s email account on April 1, 2019. As a result, Ullico began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Medical record information
  • Financial account information
