WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, New York Transco discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, New York Transco determined that an unauthorized third party accessed this sensitive information through company email accounts between December 6 and December 13, 2023. On June 20, 2024, New York Transco began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

- Social Security number
- Driver’s license number
- Medical records
