Lithia Motors Data Breach Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

On June 19, 2024, Lithia was informed that its third-party vendor, CDK Global, LLC (“CDK), had experienced a cybersecurity incident that impacted Lithia’s North American dealer management system. In response, Lithia began an investigation to determine the nature of scope of the incident. On June 19, 2024, Lithia reported the incident in a Form 8-K filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. As of its filing, Lithia investigation is ongoing and whether personal information has been exposed has not been made publicly available.
