WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, ARGB discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, ARGB determined that an unauthorized third party accessed this sensitive information though its third-party tax filling software between March 14, 2024, and April 22, 2024. On June 18, 2024, ARGB began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Tax information
  • Direct deposit account information
