Local SEIU 1000 Data Breach Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

On January 18, 2024, Local SEIU 1000 discovered that it had experienced a network disruption. In response, Local SIEU 1000 began an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the incident, which determined on May 19, 2024, that certain files may have been accessed and acquired without authorization. Though much information is still not known about the breach, on May 8, 2024, Local SIEU 1000 learned that the affected files contained personal information. Recently, Local SEIU 1000 began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted.
