Today, The Center for Digestive Health focuses on disorders related to the digestive system including both short-term conditions and chronic, lifelong diseases.2 These conditions may involve the liver, stomach, colon, small intestine, gallbladder or pancreas.2 Additionally, The Center for Digestive Health’s state of the art diagnostic techniques, including artificial intelligence, are utilized in its Endoscopy Center and at affiliated hospitals.2 Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, The Center for Digestive Health has 10 additional locations and employs over 50 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, The Center for Digestive Health discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed.  Through its investigation, The Center for Digestive Health determined that an unauthorized actor gained access to this sensitive information between April 1 and April 14, 2024. As a result, The Center for Digestive Health began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Financial information
