WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, PruittHealth discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired.  Through its investigation, PruittHealth determined that an unauthorized actor gained access to this sensitive information via a ransomware attack in November of 2023. On May 30, 2024, PruittHealth began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Government identification information
  • Demographic information
  • Contact information
  • Address
  • Financial information
  • Bank account number
  • Health information 
  • Health insurance information
