Nissan Data Breach Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Nissan discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed or acquired. Through its investigation, Nissan determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on November 7, 2023. On May 15, 2024, Nissan began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
