Today, Ashely consists of 112 stores, with 19 distribution centers, and 2 corporate offices across 11 states.3 Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, Ashley employs over 4,000 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Ashley discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed or acquired. Through its investigation, Ashley determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between May 15, 2023, and June 5, 2023. Ashley has begun notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Government issued ID number (e.g., passport, state ID card)
  • Financial information (e.g., account number, routing number, credit or debit card number)
  • Digital signature
  • Medical information
