DCS is a real estate administration and management company based in Massachusetts. Founded in 2014, DCS provides estate planners and personal representatives with a powerful solution for managing personal accounts.2 When the time comes, DCS works with accounts to implement an estate’s final wishes which may include deletion, transference, memorialization, or other instruction.2 Headquartered in Milton, Massachusetts, DCS an additional location in Toronto, Canada.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, DCS discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, DCS determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this information on November 5, 2023. On May 3, 2024, DCS began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
