WHAT HAPPENED?

In June 2023, SUN SSC discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to multiple businesses including Sun Taiyang Co., Ltd, Hair Zone, Inc., and Beauty Essence, Inc, may have been accessed. On February 9, 2024, SUN SSC began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Financial account information
