WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Fairway discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Fairway determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information through a third-party system utilized by Fairway on or about December 4, 2023. On February 2, 2024, Fairway began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of personal information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Address
- Financial information (e.g., bank account information, credit card account numbers)
