TYLin Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating T.Y. Lin International Group Ltd. (“TYLin”) regarding its recent data breach. The TYLin data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to over 3,000 individuals.

Headquartered in San Francisco, California, TYLin has additional locations in North and South America, Latin America, Asia, and Europe, and employs over 1,000 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On August 1, 2023, TYLin discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, TYLin determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on or about July 27, 2023. Recently, TYLin began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
