WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Connecticut College discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Connecticut College determined that an unauthorized party may have accessed this sensitive information on or about March 3, 2023. On February 7, 2024, Connecticut College began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license or government issued ID number
- Student identification number
- Education records information
- Financial aid information
- Financial account information and/or access code
- Health benefits/enrollment information
- Medical record number and/or treatment information
