In addition to general contracting, Nabholz provides a variety of professional services, including construction management, design-build, preconstruction services, millwork, equipment rental, excavation, 24/7/365 emergency service, steel erection, remodeling, tenant finish-out, concrete construction, millwright, rigging, heavy-haul trucking, and a full range of environmental services.2 Founded in 1949, Nabholz is licensed for construction in more than 40 states, and its Industrial Services operation has performed equipment relocations and installations throughout the United States and in Mexico.2 Headquartered in Conway, Arkansas, Nabholz has 12 additional locations across Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Connecticut, Kansas, Missouri, and Tennessee, and employs over 500 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On November 29, 2023, Nabholz was informed that one of its vendors, Cadence Bank, had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Cadence Bank determined that an unauthorized party may have accessed this sensitive information through a vulnerability in MOVEit Transfer, a file sharing software used by Cadence Bank, between May 28 and May 31, 2023. On January 26, 2024, Nabholz began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Address
- Medical information (e.g., treatment information, provider name, medications)
- Health insurance information
