Headquartered in Hagerstown, Maryland, Ongoing Operations operates multiple hotsites, warmsites, and coldsites across the country.2

WHAT HAPPENED?

On or about November 26, 2023, Ongoing Operations discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Ongoing Operations determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between November 13 and November 26, 2023. On July 31, 2024, Ongoing Operations began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The exact type of personal information potentially exposed has not been made publicly available by Ongoing Operations. However, according to state reporting guidelines, “personal information” can include the following types of information:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license or state ID card number
  • Account number, credit card number or debit card number, if circumstances exist wherein such a number could be used without additional identifying information, access codes or passwords
