Additionally, Berglund provides a range of maintenance and repair services across its dealerships, including oil changes, brake repairs, engine repairs, battery replacement, tire rotations, and more. Headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia, Berglund has over 500 employees in sales, business finance, management, service, technical, accounting, and administrative positions.

WHAT HAPPENED?

In May 2023, Berglund discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Berglund determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on or around May 10, 2023. On November 22, 2023, Berglund began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
