WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Trident CPA Services discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Trident CPA Services determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information through an employee email account between July 20, 2023, and August 9, 2023. On November 6, 2023, Trident CPA Services began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. They type of information exposed includes: 

  • Name
  • Social Security number
