WHAT HAPPENED?
On January 17, 2023, The Heritage Group discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, The Heritage Group determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between January 13 and January 17, 2023. On May 1, 2023, The Heritage Group began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Passport number
- Medical information
