Founded in 1912, Our Sunday Visitor began when its founder, Fr. John Francis Noll, was looking for a way to spread Catholicism through paper media. Today, Our Sunday Visitor has grown into the largest provider of church envelopes in the world. Headquartered in Huntington, Indiana, Our Sunday Visitor employs over 350 individuals across 18 states.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On March 8, 2023, Our Sunday Visitor discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Our Sunday Visitor determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on March 8, 2023. On May 16, 2023, Our Sunday Visitor began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Financial account number
  • Treatment information
  • Diagnosis and condition information
  • Health plan enrollment number
