WHAT HAPPENED?

On February 21, 2023, Robeson Health Care Corporation discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Robeson Health Care Corporation determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between February 17 and February 21, 2023. On April 21, 2023, Robeson Health Care Corporation began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Medical information (medical record number, patient identification number, prescription information, treating physician, treatment cost, and treatment information and diagnosis)
  • Health insurance information
  • Medicare and Medicaid numbers
