WHAT HAPPENED?

On July 1, 2022, Sure Title Company discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Sure Title Company determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between May 4 and June 28, 2022. On April 12, 2023, Sure Title Company began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Passport information
  • Financial account information
  • Credit card and debit card information
