WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 9, 2023, Prescott College discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and obtained. Through its investigation, Prescott College determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and acquired this sensitive information between October 26 and October 29, 2022. On April 5, 2023, Prescott College began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license number
- Date of birth
- Passport information
- Financial account information
- Medical and health insurance information
- Username and password
