PGT Innovations is a wholesale building materials company specializing in the production of windows and doors. Comprised of multiple brands, PGT Innovations sources its windows and doors from companies including Western Window Systems, Anlin Windows & Doors, Martin Door, and Eco Window Systems. Founded in 1980, PGT Innovations began as a vinyl porch enclosure business, later expanding into window manufacturing. Today, PGT Innovations has grown to offer hundreds of products across its various brands. Located in North Venice, Florida, PGT Innovations has 5 locations and employs approximately 3,400 employees.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On November 5, 2022, PGT Innovations discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, PGT Innovations determined that an unauthorized actor accessed and obtained this sensitive information between October 13 and November 29, 2022. On April 3, 2023, PGT Innovations began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
