Headquartered in Newton, Massachusetts, Bright Horizons operates over 1,000 locations and employs more than 26,000 individuals across the globe.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On December 11, 2022, Bright Horizons discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Bright Horizons determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and obtained this sensitive information on or around December 11, 2022. On March 27, 2023, Bright Horizons began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Address
