Logic Global Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Logic Global, Inc., which does business as Logic and Logic Information Systems, regarding its recent data breach. The Logic data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

Logic is a Minnesota-based IT services and consulting company. Specifically, Logic works with retailers to help them succeed in the modern retail landscape working with them from the initial strategy phase through execution of initiatives.2 Using Oracle Retail, Logic focuses on the areas of merchandising, planning and optimization, stores, e-commerce, hosting, and support.3 Founded in 1997, Logic lists retailers such as Staples, Ralph Lauren, Total Wine & More, Louis Vuitton, Express, and 7-Eleven as customers. Headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota, Logic employs over 1,000 people and Logic’s clients operate in 170 countries across the world.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On or about February 2, 2022, Logic discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Logic determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information through an employee email account between January 21 and February 2, 2022. On February 15, 2023, Logic began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
