Additionally, Rundle Eye Care provides services in optometry, going beyond the subspecialty of ophthalmological eye surgery to treat a variety of other eye conditions. Located in Orange, California, Rundle Eye Care employs three physicians.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Rundle Eye Care discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Rundle Eye Care determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information. On January 12, 2023, Drs. Keith and Herman Rundle began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Medical information (e.g., treatment information)
