WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Members Trust Federal Credit Union discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Members Trust Federal Credit Union determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information at various times between September 28 and October 4, 2022. On January 12, 2023, Members Trust Federal Credit Union began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
