Additionally, Calvary Church offers educational opportunities in line with Christian teachings, including a preschool, elementary school, and a college. Over the years, Calvary Church has expanded its services beyond worship and schooling, incorporating onsite coffee shops and a skate park. Headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Calvary Church operates four separate churches in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On March 10, 2022, Calvary Church discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and obtained. Through its investigation, Calvary Church determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information by launching a ransomware attack. On January 12, 2022, Calvary Church began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Passport number
  • Taxpayer identification number
