As a drug rehab and mental health recovery center, Retreat Behavioral Health has a variety of different programs, including both inpatient and outpatient programs. Headquartered in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Retreat Behavioral Health has locations in Pennsylvania, Florida, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On July 1, 2022, Retreat Behavioral Health discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Retreat Behavioral Health determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on July 1, 2022 through a ransomware attack. On December 30, 2022, Retreat Behavioral Health began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Address
  • Medical and treatment information
