BAE Systems Data Breach Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

On November 6, 2022, BAE Systems discovered that one of its vendors had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, BAE Systems determined that an unauthorized actor may have been capable of accessing this sensitive information since September 25, 2022. On December 2, 2022, BAE Systems began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Social Security number
