WHAT HAPPENED?

On May 12, 2021, Receivables Performance Management discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Receivables Performance Management determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information on April 8, 2021. Furthermore, it was concluded that this actor launched a ransomware attack on May 12, 2021. On November 21, 2022, Receivables Performance Management began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information impacted includes:

  • Social Security number
  • Other personal information
