WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Benchmark Education discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Benchmark Education concluded that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information through employee email accounts between September 22 and December 15, 2021. On October 17, 2022, Benchmark Education began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information impacted includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Account number
