WHAT HAPPENED?
On August 22, 2022, Savannah College of Art and Design discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems was accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Savannah College of Art and Design determined that an unauthorized actor accessed its system and acquired copies of certain files on August 22, 2022. Recently, Savannah College of Art and Design began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
