Orange Business Services Data Breach Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

On March 17, 2022, Orange Silicon Valley discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Orange Silicon Valley determined that an unauthorized actor may have gained access to this sensitive information, including the sensitive information belonging to employees of Orange Business Services, on January 4, 2022. On August 3, 2022, Orange Business Services began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Employee benefits information
