Inline Networks Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Inline Network Integration, LLC regarding its recent data breach. Inline Network Integration, which does business as Inline Networks, is an IT company that acts as the managed services provider for various companies, including Heritage Life Insurance Company. The Inline Networks data breach involved sensitive personal information belonging to over 58,000 individuals.

Inline Networks is an IT consulting company headquartered in Longview, Texas. Inline Networks provides infrastructure technology, communication, and network services to small and medium sized businesses. Inline Networks’ IT solutions include security and design, help desk, disaster planning, and email/exchange servers. Founded in 2005, Inline Networks has over 25 employees in four office locations in Tyler, Longview, and Dallas, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On March 12, 2022, Inline Networks discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its system may have been accessed and acquired. Through an investigation, Inline Networks determined that an unauthorized actor may have acquired customer data belonging to its clients, including Heritage Life Insurance Company, because of this incident. On July 14, 2022, Inline Networks began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
