The East West Family of Companies is comprised of three companies—East West PartnersSlifer Smith & Frampton, and East West HospitalityEast West Partners develops resort and urban communities while Slifer Smith & Frampton manages the sales of each development. East West Hospitality provides on-site hospitality and property management services for East West Family of Companies’ projects in Colorado, California, South Carolina, and Hawaii.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On November 8, 2021, East West Family of Companies experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information of individuals in its system may have been accessed or acquired. Through an investigation, East West Family of Companies was able to determine that an unknown actor breached its system between November 5 and 8, 2021. East West Family of Companies further determined that the personal identifiable information of East West Family of Companies’ employees and their dependents may have been impacted. On July 1, 2022, East West Family of Companies began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
