Camile Alvarez

In law school, Camile gained experience in both litigation and transactional matters. She served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Katherine A. Levine of the New York Supreme Court, Civil Term, where she researched and drafted bench memoranda on civil matters, such as employment discrimination. She also advised emerging companies on trademark matters, corporate structuring, and employment compliance as a Legal Intern with the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic (“BLIP”), and served as a Research Assistant for a privacy law professor, contributing to scholarship on media law, including research on the right to be forgotten.

Camile further developed expertise in investigations and regulatory compliance through internships with Major League Baseball’s Investigations Department and the New York City Department of Buildings’ Internal Affairs and Discipline Unit. Earlier, she represented parents in abuse and neglect proceedings at the Brooklyn Defenders’ Family Defense Practice, conducting client interviews, drafting motions, and assisting in hearing preparation.
